The Watchman
Roadrunners have always been one of my favorite birds. Their personality, posture, and distinctive markings make them instantly recognizable, and they always seem to look like they're keeping watch over the landscape around them.
This original painting is hand-painted on reclaimed wood, allowing the natural grain, weathering, and character of the boards to become part of the scene. The desert landscape is inspired by places I've spent time exploring, with prickly pear, yucca, dusty brush, and distant mountains creating a simple backdrop for everyday life.
Every reclaimed board is different, making this a true one-of-a-kind piece.

Refund Policy: Since the Website/Artist offers tangible goods we do not provide refunds on custom orders/commissions after the product is purchased or commissioned, which you acknowledge prior to purchasing any product on the Website/social media. Please make sure that you've carefully read service description (above) before making a purchase.
Refunds for items that are not custom made need to be shipped back to Joshua Bingham Jewelry within 5 days of being received by the customer. Items must be returned in new condition to receive a refund and there will be charged a 20% restocking fee. (Deducted from sale price.)
