At Joshua Bingham Jewelry LLC, each piece is individually crafted with careful attention to materials, craftsmanship, and design. Many of our pieces feature rare, high-grade natural turquoise, sterling silver, and precious gold.

Please review the following policies before making a purchase or commissioning a custom piece. These terms apply to purchases made through our website and directly through Joshua Bingham Jewelry LLC, including orders arranged through email or social media.

 

1. Shipping & Processing

Ready-to-ship jewelry is generally processed and shipped within 3–5 business days following payment confirmation, excluding weekends and holidays.

Custom and commissioned jewelry is subject to an individually agreed-upon production timeline. Shipping estimates for custom pieces begin once the piece has been completed and final payment has been received.

Shipping times are estimates and may vary depending on carrier operations, destination, weather, customs processing, or other circumstances beyond our control.

International customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or additional charges imposed by the destination country.

 

Shipping Insurance & Delivery Responsibility

Due to the value and irreplaceable nature of our jewelry, shipping insurance is strongly recommended for all purchases, particularly pieces containing rare natural turquoise and precious metals.

Joshua Bingham Jewelry LLC is not responsible for shipping delays, theft, or damage caused by third-party carriers to the extent permitted by applicable law. Carrier claims involving lost, stolen, or damaged shipments will be evaluated according to the shipping service selected, applicable insurance coverage, and relevant consumer protection laws.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Please contact us immediately if an address correction is necessary.

Any package that arrives visibly damaged should be documented with photographs of the packaging and contents, and reported to us promptly.

 

2. Custom Orders & Commissions

Joshua Bingham Jewelry specializes in individually commissioned jewelry created for a specific customer. Custom pieces may incorporate rare or high-grade natural turquoise, precious metals, individually selected stones, and design elements developed exclusively for the client.

Because these pieces are created according to individual specifications, they cannot reasonably be returned to inventory or resold as standard merchandise. For these reasons, all custom orders and commissions are considered final sale. Joshua Bingham Jewelry LLC does not accept returns or issue refunds for custom-made jewelry once the commission has been accepted and production has begun, except as required by applicable law.

 

Custom Order Agreement

A custom order includes, but is not limited to:

• Jewelry designed or fabricated specifically for an individual customer.

• Pieces incorporating a stone selected or reserved for a particular commission.

• Jewelry created according to customer-requested dimensions, designs, materials, or specifications.

• Personalized, modified, or specially commissioned jewelry.

Custom orders are subject to an agreed-upon design, pricing, payment, and production arrangement.

All custom orders and commissions are final sale and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds once the commission has been accepted and production has begun.

This policy reflects the individualized nature of our work, the allocation of specialized materials, and the time invested in designing and fabricating each commissioned piece.

 

Custom Stone Reservations & Deposits

Select stones may be offered through our Custom Stone Selection program for use in commissioned jewelry.

A $250 non-refundable custom deposit is required to reserve a selected stone. This deposit is applied toward the final purchase price of the commissioned piece.

Any separately listed stone price is also credited toward the final purchase price, as described in the applicable listing or custom agreement.

Stones offered through Custom Stone Selection are reserved exclusively for jewelry commissioned through Joshua Bingham Jewelry LLC. They are not sold or shipped as loose stones.

The final design, materials, pricing, and production timeline will be established through consultation before fabrication begins.

Deposits and custom-order payments are non-refundable under the agreed terms, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed to in writing by Joshua Bingham Jewelry LLC.

 

Design Approval & Modifications

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving the agreed-upon design, stone selection, dimensions, and other relevant specifications before fabrication.

Requests for changes after production has begun may not be possible and may result in additional charges.

Due to the natural characteristics of turquoise stones and the handmade nature of our jewelry, minor variations in color, matrix, texture, finish, and appearance are inherent to the materials and craftsmanship and do not, by themselves, constitute defects.

 

3. Returns & Refunds — Non-Custom Jewelry

Returns are considered only for eligible, non-custom jewelry purchased directly from Joshua Bingham Jewelry LLC.

Customers must contact us and ship their return within 5 calendar days of receiving the item.

To qualify for a return:

• The item must be unworn, unused, unaltered, and in its original condition.

• The item must be returned securely packaged.

• The customer must contact us before returning the item.

• Return shipping costs and adequate return insurance are the customer's responsibility, unless otherwise required by law.

All eligible returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, deducted from the original merchandise purchase price.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Returned merchandise will be inspected before a refund is approved. Joshua Bingham Jewelry LLC reserves the right to decline discretionary returns that do not meet the stated conditions.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method, subject to the applicable restocking fee.

Custom orders, commissions, personalized jewelry, and pieces made to individual specifications are excluded from this return policy.

 

4. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the agreed-upon order, please contact us promptly at JoshuaBinghamJewelry@gmail.com.

Include your order information, a description of the issue, and photographs when possible.

We will review the circumstances and determine an appropriate resolution consistent with applicable law. Depending on the situation, this may include repair, replacement, or refund.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

 

5. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, paying a custom deposit, or commissioning jewelry through Joshua Bingham Jewelry LLC, the customer acknowledges that these policies have been made available for review.

For custom commissions, acceptance of the specific design, pricing, deposit terms, and production agreement may be documented separately in writing.

These policies apply to the extent permitted by applicable law. If any provision is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect to the extent legally permissible.
